bicknurgess: I’m a new born pomp tell me what you think! Alright. As a newborn, you get a little more leeway…as starters, it looks like your hair is cut correctly. Plus, it looks like you got some length up there on top. And shitttt….you got fine hair…maybe not as fine as mine…but fine nonetheless. I expect a seriously nice pompadour from you in the future. If you notice the similarities between my, illestratedman's, and justoldschool's pomps…the common thing we share that our pomps go up, slightly forward, and then back. Anything other than that and your hair is a mere combover. We live in a world where people are afraid to make full/complete statements in how they present themselves. Hybrids have become acceptable — I don’t like them. When someone wears a suit vest, there better effing be a full suit to accompany it. When someone wears running shoes, they better be effing running. And so, when one claims to have a pomp (I’m assuming you’re claiming to have a pomp because you used the tag), he’s gotta do it proper. You have the perfect hair type and cut for it. If you want a pompadour, work on getting it up, slightly forward, and straight back. That’s my advice. If you don’t want a pomp, then you’re out of my category/area of expertise and free to do whatever you want dude.
